In-Person Private Tutoring

We currently offer in-person tutoring at the Hercules Library in Hercules, CA and the San Pedro Library in San Antonio, TX.

On-Location/At-Home Tutoring: If you’d prefer to meet at your home, or a public building or park close to you, just state that location on your Tutoring Request Form, and we will get back to you with a price quote and potential schedule. Price of every meeting includes:

-Customized Lessons

-Access to Student’s Tutoring Folder and Lesson Reports

-Communication with parents to monitor student’s school performance, as needed

Typical 50-minute lesson breakdown:

10 minutes- reviewing a long-term skill (ex. multiplication skills for Math tutoring or vocabulary words for English tutoring)
10-20 minutes- reviewing what we did the previous week
20-30 minutes- covering and practicing a new skill/topic

Meeting time might also include going over missed homework/quiz/test problems, reviewing written work, reading, topic discussions, test preparation, or any other learning tactic that will serve to further the student’s knowledge and performance.
